Many soldiers are there who are securing the frontiers and oceans. They do it round the clock and seven days a week. There is no reason for doing it; it’s a selfless work for the nation. They serve the nation and give a supreme sacrifice.
We soldiers stay away from home for the months. We don’t know when we will get to meet our families. We do each and every task as ordered. We get trained like hell.

After getting few unavoidable news from home, when we go to ask for leave to Commanding officer/senior do something unbelievable. Either they deny us for leave directly or they get angry and start abusing. And, we have to follow our senior officer.
He said to me that after getting commissioned whenever your junior soldier asks for the leave please don’t react in anger or say something bad/ Abusive to him. Forget not, we are also human and we also have emotions. Counsel them and tell them the circumstances. Understand their emotions, later take any decision.

Here I am with my interaction with a soldier and his experience. It will be in his words.
While traveling I often meet defence personals and most of the times they share to me many things and experience. He started talking about leaves.

We all have some issues in our personal lives, and even in some family issues. A lot of times it happens our families call us with the problems that they are facing. And, why don’t they do so? We are the members of the same. Multiple times it happens we get exhausted and the anger hidden in emotions come out and we react differently.

Under such circumstances, soldiers take some decisions that cause bad. You may have heard of the news that a soldier shot his senior officer. Many news came out alike, and you might know the reason behind it.

The respect for them got increased in my heart and their families. It’s tough enough to be a soldier. One who serves there at the border and one’s family at home both are a soldier. One is by profession and the other one by Heart.
