Importance of First Step- Inspirational and Motivational Story by Akhilesh Dwivedi | Think Tank Akhil

How easy is it to take the first step?
How tough is it to be the first person to do something?
Do you think those who had created history had some fear in their heart?

Let me tell you a story-
Once there was a man named Rahul. He was brilliant enough and had a lot of knowledge. In Spite of having great knowledge, he was unable to convey his message to the people. Rahul used to think that he couldn’t do that, he had some issues in his knowledge. How would the public react? How would I convey? What if something would go wrong? What if I couldn’t make it? What if people wouldn’t like me? After thinking and sharing all he just sat on the floor.
No one knows Rahul.

And in another story-
There was a friend of Rahul, Aman who had just a little knowledge but he started his work. He kept improving and started conveying his things to the people and with the growing experience he got a lot of knowledge and people started loving his valuable words and kept following him. He never looked back. He became a role model for many.

The point is that the one who started has got enough to learn and tell but the other one who didn’t start had nothing and even he lost what he had. Therefore it is important to start whether it’s small or big, doesn’t matter, The only thing matters is taking the first step. If you are about to do something and are unable to take the first step because of fear of something; my friend, take your first step and it will give you better knowledge to take the second and this is how you are going to succeed.

What if Sherpa Tenzing, Edmund Hillary didn't start?
What if Yuri Gagarin had no thought to go into space?
What if Sachin Tendulkar didn’t start at his early age?
What if you did not take your first step to walk?

If they didn't start, they would never have been known to the world for the ages. So the point is, why are they all well known to the world and remembered across the globe? Why are you not well known across the globe? Why can't you reach to what you think to achieve? Why your genius ideas rest in your mind only? The reason is simple dear, the fear to start, the fear to take first step, the fear to think about loss.

If you are about to do something and are unable to take the first step because of fear of something, my friend, no need to quit, heal up yourself, close your eyes and move ahead, but keep trying to get your first step successfully in your hand; it will give you better knowledge to take the second and this is how you are going to succeed.
